William Travers

[Brøderbund WFT Vol. 5, Ed. 1, Tree #0082, Date of Import: 31 Dec 1998] William Travers of Nateby and Tuldeth Castle married Margaret Preston about 1510. She was the daughter of Laurence Preston of Preston and Amounderness in Counties York and Lancashire. William was a soldier, and died in Scotland on 29 July 1524. He is buried at Edinburg. His heir was his second son, William, his eldest son, Laurence, having died. His daughters were Grace, Elizabeth, Ann, Alice, and Dorothy.

She was the daughter of Sir Henry Kigley, a knight of Inchipp, County Lancashire. Richard was a Captain in the Royal Army, and is buried in the North Isle of the Minister at Canterbury. His heir was William Travers.

[Brøderbund WFT Vol. 5, Ed. 1, Tree #0082, Date of Import: 31 Dec 1998] Robert Travers of Nateby and Tulketh Castle married Katherine Radcliff about the 12 year of Edward IV (1472-73). She was the daughter of Thomas Radcliff of Clitheroe, County Lancashire. She was kin to William Booth, Archbishop of York. Robert died about 1480 and is buried in Calais, France.

Robert married Katherine Radcliff Abt 1473. Katherine (daughter of Thomas Radcliff) was born Between 1424 and 1454; died Between 1478 and 1543. [Group Sheet]
