    • School Teacher. Received law degree from Cumberland University in Tennessee. Practiced Law mostly in Paducah, Ky. where he also farmed. His law specialty was real estate and land titles. In 1939 Charles Lowry purchased the Gus Legeay place on Old Cairo Road, where he raised Hereford cattle. This was his home until his death in 1974. A native of Caldwell County, he moved to Paducah in the early 1920's.
